The Manchester Ball

In a few weeks i will be auctioning a "day's jewellery workshop" and two large scale vessels at the The Manchester Ball. An annual event which has been raising funds for local and national charities since 1987. The Ball, which will take place on the 13th November at the Hilton, Deansgate in Manchester will be supporting the Together Trust. A charititable orgnisation which provdes care, education, support and improved life oportunities for young people in need.

Some new work

Here's a sneak preview of some of the new work i will be launching next week at Origin. It includes asymmetric vessels and bowls made from vending cup and yoghurt pot plastic and new droplet vases made from recycled paper and reclaimed leather...

Wedding commissions

As preparations for the launch of new products at Origin next week get underway, I have also been producing a range of bespoke silver, wood and acrylic wedding jewellery. This included 5 pairs of cufflinks and 3 necklaces, all of which were made to order in specific acrylic colours to match the wedding attire.

Each cufflink design was varied specifically for the Ushers, the best man and the groom. Each necklace was chosen specifically for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride. The lovely couple who commissioned the jewellery also informed me that i had made their engagement ring.
